Kansas City area maintenance work for June 29-July 5…

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from June 29-July 5. All work is weather permitting.

CASS COUNTY

Interstate 49 southbound ramp onto 155th St.: right turn lane closed on Tue., July 2, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm, for lighting operations.

JACKSON COUNTY

Route RA (SE Ranson Rd.): full closure for culvert replacement Culvert replacement scheduled for SE Ranson Rd. on June 29 | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org)

Interstate 70 over U.S. Highway 40 and 31st St.: overnight lane closures for bridge deck work.

  • Sun., June 30, from approximately 8 pm until 4 am: two left lanes closed on I-70 eastbound.
  • Mon., July 1, from approximately 8 pm until 4 am: two left lanes closed on I-70 westbound.

Holmes Rd. over Interstate 670: lane closures for bridge deck work

  • Mon., July 1, from approximately 8 am until 4 pm: two right lanes closed
  • Tue., July 2, from approximately 8 am until 4 pm: two right lanes closed

I-70 eastbound over 18th St. railroad bridge: two left lanes closed overnight on Tue., July 2, from approximately 8 pm until 4 am, for bridge deck work.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY

North Outer Rd. (along I-70) between Route H and Route E: full closure on Mon., July 1 and Tue., July 2, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm, for pavement repair work.

Route YY between Zion Hill Rd. and County Road 451.: flagging operation on Wed., July 3, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm daily, for culvert replacement work.

SALINE COUNTY

Route NN between Route C and Missouri Highway 41: full closure on Mon., July 1, and Tue., July 2, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm daily, for pavement repair work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
