CTIA Announces Changes to Board of Directors

WASHINGTON - CTIA, the wireless industry association, today announced updates to its Board of Directors.

Laurent "LT" Therivel, President and CEO of UScellular, has been elected as Chairman, and Kyle Malady, CEO of Verizon Business, has been elected Vice Chairman. Both positions are effective January 1, 2025. Therivel currently serves as Vice Chairman and will replace outgoing Chairman Slayton Stewart, CEO of Carolina West.

Mike Finley, CEO of Boingo Wireless, was elected Secretary, effective immediately, and Cindy Christy, President of Asurion, was re-elected as Treasurer.

"We are fortunate to have this strong group of innovators and experts leading the CTIA Board of Directors," said Meredith Attwell Baker, President and CEO of CTIA. "I look forward to working closely with LT, Kyle, Mike, Cindy, and the rest of the board to work towards securing America's global wireless leadership. I also want to thank Slayton for his service during his tenure as Chairman."

Ookla is also joining CTIA's Board of Directors, with Stephen Bye, President and CEO, representing the company.
