San Mateo County to host Alpine Road Corridor Project meetings

San Mateo County to host Alpine Road Corridor Project meetings

Published on October 14, 2024

In 2017, San Mateo County completed an Alpine Road corridor study that spanned from the unincorporated San Mateo County/Menlo Park boundary (i.e., ~1,500 feet south of Junipero Serra Blvd.) to the unincorporated San Mateo County/Portola Valley boundary (i.e., ~1,000 feet south of La Mesa Dr.). The study identified several near-term and long-term improvements along the ~1.8-mile stretch of Alpine Road. Near-term improvements were completed between 2017 and 2021.

Recently, the County has taken the first step toward the final delivery of long-term improvements for the corridor. As a result, the County will be hosting two hybrid format (i.e., can attend in-person or via Zoom) public outreach meetings for community members to provide input and help shape future improvements along Alpine Road. Both meetings will have the same presentation and opportunities to speak with County staff.

The two meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Wednesday, Nov. 13. Both meetings will start at 6 p.m. at Ladera Recreation District, Recreation Room (150 Andeta Way, Portola Valley).
