HACU and MGM Resorts International announce student recipients of the MGM Resorts International Scholarship

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, in partnership with MGM Resorts International, awarded the MGM Resorts International Scholarship. A total of 17 students from HACU-member institutions will receive a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 each.

Scholarships were available to qualifying students who were majoring in hospitality, business administration, international business, marketing, accounting, finance, culinary arts, hotel administration, event management, and public relations.

Students who were selected include:

• Jacqueline O. - The University of Texas at Austin

• Karla C. - The University of Texas at Austin
• Leslie G.- Southwestern University
• Lisbeth L. - Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Newark Campus
• Loris Y. - University of Nevada, Las Vegas
• Mario G. - College of the Mainland
• Myra I. - Alverno College
• Nicole A. - California State University Channel Islands
• Ryan W. - University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
• Victoria U. - Susquehanna University

The MGM Resorts International Scholarship is part of the 2024-25 HACU Scholarship Program.
