Loudoun County invites members of the public to attend a public information meeting to provide input on the interior and exterior of the recreation facility planned for the Western Loudoun Recreation Complex near Purcellville. The public information meeting will be held Monday, December 9, 2024, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., at the Loudoun Valley High School cafeteria, 340 N. Maple Avenue in Purcellville. Following the presentation, attendees will be able to review the recreation facility concepts, provide feedback and ask questions about the project.
Public meeting materials, including a comment form, are available for review at loudoun.gov/westernloudounrecreation.
This project provides funding for the design and construction of a new recreation facility with an aquatics center, and a park with up to ten athletic fields on a 142.71-acre site.
Residents will have the opportunity to provide input on the recreation facility design on a provided comment form; through the online comment form at loudoun.gov/westernloudounrecreation; by mail to Sean Haislip, Loudoun County Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure, PO Box 7500, Leesburg, Va, 20177; or by email. All comments from this meeting must be received by December 23, 2024. Reference "Western Loudoun Recreation Complex" in the subject line.
