“Blue Guards” clean up marine litter

Recently, nearly a hundred volunteers from Ninghai County and Xiangshan County carried out the "beach cleaning" campaign, packing the collected drift garbage from the sea, and moving it to the dock for unified treatment.

Protecting the "Blue Home" cannot be achieved without widespread public participation and support. For many years, the "Blue Guards" volunteers from various coastal areas in Ningbo have organized various forms of "beach cleaning" and "sea cleaning" operations. By patrolling the coast, cleaning up prohibited nets and various types of marine debris, they try to promote to citizens the concept that "the sea should be free of garbage" to protect the marine environment and protect the beautiful coastline.
