OSAGE BEACH, Mo. - - Michelle Cloud and Joseph Frueh joined the Missouri Farm Bureau (MOFB) Board of Directors, while four current members received new two-year terms during the 110th MOFB annual meeting on Tuesday, December 10.
Cloud, of Jasper County, was selected to serve as the South Director at-large representative, replacing outgoing board member Amy Jo Estes of Gasconade County. The owner and operator of Cloud's Meats in Carthage, Cloud has served as the Jasper County Farm Bureau President since 2022. She and her husband, Chris, were members of the Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) committee from 2002-2006, and their family's dedication to agriculture earned the Jasper County Farm Family of the Year award in 2021. Cloud is a graduate of MOFB's IMPACT program. She will serve a two-year term on the MOFB Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Frueh, of Nodaway County, was selected as the new chair of the MOFB YF&R Committee. He is a fourth-generation farmer who currently serves as the President of both the Nodaway County Farm Bureau and the Nodaway County Cattlemen's Association. Frueh is a graduate of the MOFB IMPACT program and the Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow (ALOT) program, and he operates a row crop farm while also assisting his family's farm row crop and cow/calf operation. He will serve a one-year term as an advisory member on the MOFB Board of Directors, effective immediately.
In addition, Jason Kurtz of Oregon (District 1), Drew Lock of La Plata (District 2), Andy Clay of Jamestown (District 3) and Sharon Arnold of Drexel (District 4) were each awarded new two-year terms to continue their service on the MOFB Board of Directors.
