Hancock Whitney Welcomes Our Class of 2024 Corporate Interns

Hancock Whitney is pleased to introduce our 2024 Corporate Internship Program (CIP) group for the summer term. Our CIP is part of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) program focused on creating opportunities and developing qualified and diverse talent at Hancock Whitney.

We value differences in thought, culture, and experience. The intern class of 2024 includes a diverse mix of students from a broad mix of cultures, races and ethnicities, hometowns, college and universities, majors, and experiences. They are the one percent selected from a record high of more than 1,200 applicants.

Members of our 2024 intern group were selected for the 12-week experience based on their high academic standards and extracurricular skills, partnered with integrity and leadership ability. These 12 weeks working at Hancock Whitney allow them to explore a full-time role in specific areas. They also get to hone their professional and technical skills and gain training, development, and social opportunities offered throughout the program. Our CIP also includes a volunteer and mentorship component to help our interns develop their skills for a career while learning the importance of community and inclusive leadership.

Mekhi Wyman, Risk Analyst and former CIP Intern, shares this advice with our 2024 group: "As you embark on this exciting journey, I'd like to share a piece of advice from my experience. During the program, I was able to gain valuable insights into banking, which has been immensely beneficial. My key takeaway is to embrace every learning opportunity and actively engage with mentors and peers. The knowledge and connections you build here will be invaluable in your career. Always stay curious, ask questions, and take advantage of the resources provided by the program."

Please join us in welcoming our 2024 interns to the Hancock Whitney family:
