UW Strategic Supplier Fair Sept. 12

A Strategic Supplier Fair, sponsored by the University of Wyoming's Procurement and Payment Services, is planned Thursday, Sept. 12, in the Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom.

The fair will be open from 9:30 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. to network and learn more about the strategic benefits that UW Procurement and Payment Services has negotiated on behalf of UW faculty and staff.

Representatives from Amazon, Apple, CDW Corp., Fastenal, Fisher Scientific, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, the University Store and other companies will be at the annual supplier fair. With more than 15 vendor booths and more than three UW partners in attendance, representatives will offer discounts and benefits throughout the day.

"While you are there, meet your Procurement Services colleagues and enter raffles for a chance to win amazing gifts, including Southwest round-trip ticket vouchers, an Amazon Echo Dot, Rolling Mill Bakery favorites and more," says Jon Babcock, UW Procurement Services assistant director. "Not only are there gifts up for grabs, but great discounts and benefits to learn about as well."

Apple representatives will have special breakout sessions, offering Apple accessibility and fall updates at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Representatives will highlight new software updates for Apple devices.
