SCDOT to close part of Riverview Road in York County for widening project

​Columbia, S.C.(July 2, 2024) - The South Carolina Department of Transportation will close part of Riverview Road (S-46-851) in York County starting on July 9 to begin widening the road.

The closure will take place near the intersection with Eden Terrace (S-46-284) and is expected to reopen July 29. As part of the closure, a detour has been set up using Cherry Road (US 21/SC 322), Anderson Road (US 21) and Eden Terrace.

A map of the detour can be found below. Please note that although the road will be closed to through traffic, access to all businesses will be maintained.
