Participants at the defense content development seminar on June 21.

The Defense Publishing Support Group, together with Konyang University and the Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, held the sixth Defense Content Development Seminar at the MND Convention Center in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on June 21.

The event has been held since 2019 to assess the current status of defense content and seek ways to explore and develop defense content using advanced technologies.

This year, the theme was "ways to develop defense content for scientific training."

Presentations made at the seminar included a scientific training system for the Army; e-learning production using AI and a learning management system; cases of XR-based defense content establishment; AI-based XR content production and operation; and XR convergence solution using digital twins.

Moreover, the Defense Publishing Support Group displayed printed materials and designs for military symbol systems provided to all branches of the armed forces during the seminar, demonstrating its capabilities.

Defense Publishing Support Group Director Shin Gi-jin said, "The Group is striving to contribute to the strengthening of defense capabilities by transforming itself into an educational and training content platform based on Defense Innovation 4.0 and facilitating scientific training with content based on advanced technologies, and I look forward to further developing defense content with this seminar."
