JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - In addition to Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) offices, nature center buildings, staffed shooting ranges, and other staffed facilities being closed for the federal holiday of Independence Day on Thursday, July 4, MDC staffed facilities will also be closed on Friday, July 5.

The Friday closures are based on Missouri Governor Michael Parson's Executive Order 24-09, closing state offices on Friday, July 5, in celebration of Independence Day. All facilities will resume their normal operation hours after July 5.

Nature center trails, unstaffed shooting ranges, and other unstaffed facilities will remain open as normally scheduled.
