Securities Docket Names Crowell & Moring Partner Thomas Hanusik to “Enforcement Elite”

Washington - December 9, 2024: Securities Docket has named Thomas A. Hanusik, a partner in Crowell & Moring's White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement Group, to its "Enforcement Elite" list for 2024. The list identifies the best securities enforcement defense lawyers in the industry and includes key players in some of the most significant SEC enforcement matters over the past few decades. According to the publication, the "Enforcement Elite" are "the lawyers you would turn to if you, your company or a family member were faced with an important SEC enforcement matter."

Hanusik has been recognized twice previously on Securities Docket's "Enforcement 40" list - those lawyers who have been "key players in the most significant SEC enforcement matters over the past few decades."

Hanusik's practice focuses on white-collar defense, SEC enforcement, FINRA enforcement and internal investigations. He defends publicly traded and privately held companies, senior executives, board members and politicians during internal and government investigations, criminal and civil trials, regulatory enforcement actions, and appeals. He has more than 30 years of trial and appellate experience overall, including almost a dozen at the Department of Justice and SEC. Hanusik was one of the original prosecutors on the Enron Task Force and later served as assistant chief in the DOJ's Criminal Division, Fraud Section.
