Frost Brown Todd (FBT) announced today that veteran California attorney Tina Wallis has joined the firm's San Francisco office as a partner. Wallis, a preeminent authority on California's Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), brings over 25 years of experience in entitlement approvals and litigation and land use law to FBT's real estate practice group.

"We look forward to welcoming Tina to the San Francisco office, continuing Frost Brown Todd's momentum in expanding capabilities across the firm's California offices. Tina's vast experience helping property owners and applicants develop strategies to gain project approval under CEQA and defending those approvals in litigation makes her uniquely equipped to help clients throughout California," said San Francisco Partner-in-Charge Theodore E. Bacon.

Wallis has focused her practice on advising private and public developers entitlement projects, comply with CEQA and other applicable laws during the administrative process and any subsequent litigation. She has also represented counties, cities, and special districts on land use, public works, general government, airport, and landfill matters. Using her acumen in CEQA compliance, she guides private and public sector landowners and developers through complex entitlement and permitting processes, litigation, challenging entitlements and permits, and due diligence for complex land use and environmental issues.

"Tina has extensive experience working with private and public sector clients to find solutions and mitigate risk, which is important when navigating complex entitlement and permitting processes," said Christina M. Sprecher, Frost Brown Todd's real estate practice group leader. "Her varied background and extraordinary commitment to clients make her a great addition to our firm."

Prior to joining FBT, Wallis built a reputation as a fair and respectful problem solver, esteemed by those with whom she negotiates on her clients' behalf. She serves both the legal and wider communities as an advocate for affordable housing, youth services, and excellence in the study and practice of law.

Wallis earned her J.D. at Vermont Law School and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California.
