Section of W. Avenue closed for water main leak repair

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has closed West Avenue from Home Avenue to N. 2nd Street for water main leak repair.

Traffic will be detoured to N. 2nd Street and Drane Street to avoid the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment or choose an alternate travel route.

The water main leak repair is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 9 p.m.
