As part of Fort Worth's commitment to enhancing the 911 system and improving service delivery, the City has appointed a new 911 Communications Administrator, Aubry Insco. With over 25 years of experience in 911 and emergency communications, Insco is a dedicated advocate for public safety. This is a new position for the City of Fort Worth.

Most recently, she served as emergency communications manager for the City of Grand Prairie, where she led a team of professionals committed to providing timely and high-quality public safety services. During her tenure, Insco implemented innovative technologies and strategies that resulted in transformative improvements and enhanced efficiency in public safety outcomes.

In addition to her role in Grand Prairie, Insco chairs the Tarrant County 911 Emergency Assistance District Board of Managers, guiding efforts to deliver reliable 911 services across the county. She also plays a pivotal role in legislative initiatives aimed at securing sustainable funding for resilient 911 systems nationwide.

"We are excited to welcome Aubry as the first 911 communications administrator," said Assistant City Manager Valerie Washington. "Her leadership is crucial as we transition the EMS system to the City and continue discussions on the best way to streamline and consolidate communications and dispatch functions in a way that will enhance service for our residents and visitors but also uphold the high standards of customer service we are known for. Aubry brings a wealth of expertise that will be invaluable as we work to build a reliable and resilient 911 system for Fort Worth."
