The governments of Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico make an urgent appeal to avoid actions that escalate the arms race and aggravate the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

We urge all parties involved to comply with their international commitments and to give priority to dialogue and the search for peace in the region.
