MEDIA INVITATION: MINISTER MANTASHE TO ADDRESS THE AFRICA ENERGY INDABA

The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe (MP) will, on Tuesday 05 March 2024, deliver a keynote address at the 16^th annual edition of Africa Energy Indaba (AEI) in Cape Town.

Convened under the theme "African Energy Transitioning from Aspiration to Action - Delivering a Sustainable and Prosperous Future," the AEI will bring together various industry role players, including government, investors, industry experts, and energy users to discuss and pursue lasting solutions to enable adequate energy generation across the African continent.

The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) will host the South African Energy Investment Forum and the Nuclear Forum which will respectively showcase investment opportunities in the country's energy sector and the role of nuclear in ensuring energy availability and security of supply.
