Park City Mountain Announces 2024/25 Winter Season Opening Dates and Epic Pass Labor Day Deadline Details

PARK CITY, Utah, Aug. 14, 2024 - The weather is hot, but now is the best time to plan for winter! We have your checklist to prepare for the 2024/25 ski and ride season. Start planning now to lock in the best deals and experiences all season long at Park City Mountain, which plans to open Friday, November 22, 2024, conditions permitting.

Clear your early season for adventure

Park City Mountain plans to open with an upgraded early season thanks to NEW snowmaking investments on popular trails Chicane and Another World. This investment builds on the resort's best-in-Utah snowmaking system with state-of-the-art automated snowmaking technology that will maximize resources, minimize environmental impact and improve Park City Mountain's early season experience for skiers and riders.

Navigate the largest ski and snowboard area in the United States your way. Celebrate the return of winter with the Park City community on Opening Day; ring in the holidays with the Canyons Village Tree Lighting, Santa coming down Town Lift, the Mountain Village Torchlight Parade and New Year's Eve at Canyons Village; embrace the diversity of the slopes with Queerski, Women's Weekend and Pond Skim; and rock out with on-mountain DJs and live music around every turn. Event dates and details will be available at Park City Mountain's website.
