Fire alarm test in select residence halls, Aug. 14

Facilities Planning and Management will be conducting an audible fire alarm test on Wednesday, Aug. 14, starting at 1 p.m. in the following buildings:

• Straz Tower, 1 p.m.
• Carpenter Tower, 1:30 p.m.
• Schroeder Hall, 2 p.m.
• Mashuda Hall, 2:30 p.m.

During the test, horns and strobes will be activated to confirm they are functioning properly. Elevators will not be affected during the testing period. The audible test will be as brief as possible to minimize any inconvenience to building occupants. The length of the test will vary depending on the size of the building.
