Tulane's uptown campus resumed activity on Thursday, September 12, a few hours after Hurricane Francine passed through the area. Tulane Facilities Services quickly assessed campus impacts from Hurricane Francine and re-opened campus buildings on Thursday. The Lavin-Bernick Center bustled with student activity post-Hurricane Francine as students took advantage of the space for dining and studying. Staff members with Tulane Facilities Services worked quickly and thoroughly to ensure campus operations could return to normal as quickly as possible. Pedestrian traffic on McAlister Place resumed on Thursday as the all clear was lifted after Hurricane Francine passed through southeast Louisiana.
