Scam Alert
The FBI has issued a warning about a growing text phishing scam where scammers are impersonating tolling authorities. The scammer tells the recipient they owe an outstanding toll amount and must click a link to settle the balance and avoid late fees.
Chesapeake's two tolled roads - the Dominion Blvd. Veterans Bridge and the Chesapeake Expressway - will never reach out to you via text. Toll notifications are sent via mail, or email if you've set up an account for the Dominion Blvd. Veterans Bridge.
