San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4)/Crosstown Freeway for maintenance and construction operations.

Long-term, one-way traffic control from Roberts Island Road to Cordes Ranch Road for Garwood (San Joaquin River) Bridge repairs beginning Monday, July 22, through September 30, 2024. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
One-way traffic control at Middle River Bridge for survey work on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Overnight, full off-ramp closures from eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway at Wilson Way for utility work beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane on northbound and southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Eight Mile Road on northbound and southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at SR-12/Flag City on northbound and southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. (southbound.)
Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Turner Road, Peltier Road and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road on northbound and southbound I-5 for construction beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. (southbound.)
The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Naglee Road to westbound I-205 for guardrail work beginning Sunday, July 28, through Friday, August 2, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m.
