Horse Refuge Program
The Town of Davie is offering a horse refuge site for Davie residents whose horse stalls may have been significantly impacted by the ongoing inclement weather. As a result, a limited number of animals will be accommodated on a first come-first served basis at Bergeron Rodeo Grounds, 4201 Rodeo Way, Davie, FL, 33314. Horses may be dropped off today, October 8, 2024, now through 5 p.m.
All owners must complete the Horse Refuge Registration Form prior to arriving at the Arena. Please note that all fees related to this program are being waived at this time. All sections must be completed so there are no delays in processing the registration form timely. Stallions will not be permitted.
Horse owners are responsible for all feed, water, and items needed to secure their horse(s) in the designated pens. The arena will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for horse owners to access the facility and tend to their horse(s).
