Hannah Smith '25, a communications major, shares what she loves most about Siena and the genesis of a new Snoopy-inspired tradition.
"My roommates and I all grew up watching the Peanuts cartoons and absolutely love Snoopy. The cartoons evoke such a strong sense of nostalgia and happiness, and remind us of the holidays from when we were kids! Snoopy has had a bit of a revival on social media recently, and it got us to watch all of the Snoopy cartoons again! All of us in our townhouse try to do things as a family together, whether it's watching old movies or baking! We love living in our townhouse, and making it our home away from home here at Siena. It's one of our favorite things about campus -- the community!
One of my roommates found the Snoopy pajamas online, and we all jumped at the chance to buy them! It's our own way of making family traditions together, and something fun to celebrate Halloween! We may just have to buy Christmas pajamas, too! Everyone loves the pajamas, and we do too! Creating strong friendships and being able to live together, and have so much fun along the way, is one of the greatest parts about living at Siena."
