GDOT District 3 was awarded three projects in July 2024
The first investment will be in Coweta County. This is a bridge replacement project on State Route 54 over Bear Creek. The cost will be approximately $10.7 million. The contract was awarded to North Georgia Concrete, INC..
The next investment is in Sumter County, another bridge replacement project located at Salter Mill Road at Pessell Creek. This bridge is near Plains, GA, The cost of the project is approximately $1.8 million and the contract was awarded to Southern Concrete Company.
The last investment is located in Taylor County and is a resurfacing project on State Route 137 from the Marion County line to State Route 3. This project cost approximately $4.3 million, and the contract was awarded to Reams and Son Construction. Co, INC.
Start dates have not been established for any of the contracts and scheduled completion dates are subject to change.
