City Website transitions from .COM to .GOV

The City of Balch Springs' online services will be transitioning from .COM to .GOV starting Friday, August 16th, and over the next couple of months. This process took our Marketing department nearly 7 months to complete, so it's kind of a BIG deal for us and our City! There are many benefits associated with transferring over. Since this is a domain that is only available to US-based government organizations, this transfer will help with the improvement of authenticity and security in order to protect citizen information and public assets.

While this may take some time to get used to, we encourage our users and residents to start updating their bookmarks and links online. City user email transitions will follow in the upcoming weeks. More information will be provided as we continue this transition. Thank you for your cooperation!
