On the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother's birthday anniversary on August 12, 2024, Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General in New York, presided over the ceremony to extend well wishes to Her Majesty, organized by the temple and the Thai community, at Wat Pa Buddha Thai Thavorn Albany in New York State, on August 11, 2024. The ceremony was also attended by officials and staff from the Royal Thai Consulate-General. On this occasion, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York conducted a volunteer activity by providing refreshments to the Thai and local Buddhists attending the mentioned ceremony, which was followed by a cerebration of the inauguration of the Trirattanabuddhayanarangsri Stupa and the 9th anniversary of the Temple, taking place on the same day.
