* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...All the main Hawaiian islands, with the greatest threat
over windward areas.
* WHEN...Through late tonight.
* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be
closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas
may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to
rapid runoff.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An upper low near the Hawaiian Islands will maintain moist
and unstable conditions that could produce periods of locally
heavy showers. Rain that occurs over already saturated ground
could quickly lead to runoff and flash flooding issues,
mainly over windward areas.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
