The National Assembly instructed the Minister of Health to take measures within two months to prevent and combat violence against medical professionals. The decision, unanimously adopted by the parliament, states that the Minister of Health should take necessary steps to organize and conduct training sessions according to a schedule for medical practitioners, directors, managers of medical institutions willing to participate.

Within seven months of the adoption of the National Assembly's decision, the Minister of Health must submit to Parliament a report on the measures and actions taken and an account of the funds spent, as voted by the MPs.

In order to monitor the problem at national level, a specialized electronic system is to be implemented through which medical professionals can report cases of violence against them. Based on the data collected, high-risk areas will be identified so that additional protection measures can be put in place, including the provision of special 'panic buttons' or similar devices that can be used by medical professionals to immediately alert the authorities.

The National Assembly has decided to establish an Interim Committee to investigate the facts and circumstances of corrupt practices and systematic abuse of office, carried out to the detriment of citizens and businesses, as well as to benefit companies related to the Mayor of Dospat Municipality - Elin Radev. Alexander Valchev from the parliamentary group of "There is Such a People" was elected chairman of the committee, which will include 12 MPs.

The Parliament heard the Interim Minister of the Interior Kalin Stoyanov on reports received from citizens of many populated areas in the country regarding systematic violations by motorcyclists of Article 5 of the Law on Road Traffic, according to which the driver of the vehicle is obliged not to disturb the residents of the roadside properties by complying with the established noise standards.
