Kansas City area maintenance work for Aug. 26-30

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Aug. 26-30. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

Interstate 29 southbound ramp to Interstate 35 northbound: ramp closed on Tue., Aug. 26, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., for erosion repair and bridge deck work. JACKSON COUNTY

Route F at Al Gossett Rd.: flagging operation from Mon., Aug. 26, until Fri., Aug. 30, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for ditch work.

JOHNSON & LAFAYETTE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 13 between Business Highway 13 and Interstate 70: flagging operation from Mon., Aug. 26 until Fri., Aug. 30, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route MM between Whitefield Rd. and Menefree Rd.: full closure on Mon., Aug. 26, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

Missouri Highway 135 at Mary Rd.: flagging operation on Mon., Aug. 26, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.

Route T between U.S. 50 and Route D: flagging operation from Tue., Aug. 27 until Fri., Aug. 30, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

Route U at Flat Creek bridge: flagging operation on Wed., Aug. 28, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for bridge inspection.

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 240 at various locations: intermittent flagging operations from Mon., Aug. 26 until Thu., Aug. 29, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair work.

Missouri Highway 41 at various locations: intermittent flagging operations from Mon., Aug. 26 until Thu., Aug. 29, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for shoulder repair work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
