Bank Announces Promotion of Long-Time Employee to Vice President, Marketing Director and Retirement of Current Director

Catskill, NY - Bank of Greene County is proud to announce the promotion of Susan Timan to the position of Vice President, Marketing Director & Corporate Secretary. This follows the retirement of Vice President, Marketing Director Martha Keeler on August 23. Martha has served the Bank as Marketing Director with dedication for almost 20 years.

Susan Timan has been an invaluable member of the Bank of Greene County team for almost 18 years. She joined the Bank as a teller, completed the Management Trainee program, and has held positions of increased responsibility within the Marketing Department, while also serving as the Bank's Corporate Secretary.

"Promoting Susan to Marketing Director was a natural choice, given her deep understanding of our brand and commitment to the Bank," said Donald Gibson, President and CEO. "She has consistently shown leadership, creativity, and the ability to move the Bank forward, making her the perfect fit to lead our marketing efforts in the future."

"When Martha started in 2005, she was our Bank's first Marketing Director and has played a crucial role in shaping the Bank's marketing strategies and helping us achieve numerous milestones," added Gibson. "We are incredibly grateful for Martha's years of service and dedication, and wish her all the best in her retirement. While we will miss Martha, we are excited to see Susan take on this new role and continue to drive our marketing success."

Susan Timan, a life-long resident of Greene County, holds an Associate's degree from Columbia-Greene Community College, a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications from Roger Williams University, an M.B.A. from the College of Saint Rose, and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Marist College.
