Discover the traditions of Indigenous people at Nov. 21 program

Celebrate Native American Heritage Month by joining to explore the lives, traditions and contributions of Native people in the modern world.

When and where: The program takes place Thursday, Nov 21, from noon to 1 p.m. at Old City Hall, 200 Texas St., in the Council Chamber located on the second floor.

The program will be taped and broadcast on the City's YouTube channel.

Topics to be discussed:

  • History of Village Creek attack and its modern-day impact
  • Connection to current missing and murdered Indigenous women
  • Connection to assimilation of Native American children
  • Recent discovery of ancient remains of Indigenous woman near downtown Fort Worth
