UHV Staff Picnic celebrates year of hard work

Members of the University of Houston-Victoria staff gather for a picture June 8 during the UHV Staff Picnic in Riverside Park. The picnic is an annual event hosted by the UHV Staff Council to offer staff a fun opportunity to gather outside of work and socialize in a more relaxed setting. About 130 people attended the event, including staff members and their families. This year's picnic featured a 1970s theme and featured a variety of activities, including a bounce house, temporary tattoos, a DJ, lawn games, fun awards and lunch by Ventura's Tamales.
