Ohio EPA Burn Ban in Effect

The State Fire Marshal has removed Greene County from the drought-led burn ban as we are now listed in the D1 - Moderate Drought category (https://com.ohio.gov/about-us/media-center/news/state-fire-marshal-ban-on-open-burning-remains-in-effect-for-24-ohio-counties).

The Ohio EPA does still have a burn ban in effect throughout the months of October and November from 6am to 6pm. This annual burn ban prohibits outdoor open burning statewide in unincorporated areas during these times. Residents are allowed to burn after 6pm if they meet open burning regulations within the attached document.
