Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 9:00 AM, Troopers arrested Cameron Johnson, age 39, 23 Rodman Street, Apartment #1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Duty to Stop - Accident Resulting in Damage to Attended Vehicle, and 2.) Obstructing a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty. The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation and Mr. Johnson turning himself in at Sixth Division District Court.

At 5:07 PM, Troopers arrested Edwin Blanco Cruz, age 20, 101 Althea Street Apartment #1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Obstructing a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty, 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Cranston Police Department and 3.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation on the original charge of Obstruction originating out of the Coventry Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation. Mr. Blanco Cruz was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barrack where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution - Men's Intake Center.

At 10:27 PM, Troopers arrested Miguel O. Macario Garcia, age 28, of 55 Olive Street, Apartment 1, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1.) Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates; and 2.) Giving a False Document to a Public Official. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.

At 1:28 AM, Troopers arrested Jorge L. Vega Rosado, age 58, of 193 Urban Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - BAC Unknown - First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test - First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.

At 5:45 AM, Troopers arrested Robert Whitford, age 42, of 52 Pike Street, Wakefield, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - BAC Unknown - First Offense; and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test - First Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Route 146, in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
