Through a survey that 25% of U.S. GIs will receive, ABIM is actively seeking to enhance its understanding of the practices of board-certified gastroenterologists. ABIM worked with the GI societies to restructure the gastroenterology exam blueprint, shifting from an anatomical basis to a clinical focus, for initial certification and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) exams.
