August 13, 3:30 PM - The Town has received an email from Vineyard Wind with the following information:

Vineyard Wind and GE Vernova conducted a controlled cutting operation on a turbine blade at AW-38, reducing the risk of debris falling into the ocean.
The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) has issued an updated Suspension Order allowing Vineyard Wind to resume limited activities, such as installing towers and nacelles, but not blade installation or power production. The BSEE's decision followed extensive safety evaluations.
The email also notes the transport of turbine components to and offshore site.
