Yankee Hill Road Closure Rescheduled to August 20

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that the temporary closure of Yankee Hill Road between 27th and 14th streets has been rescheduled to begin Tuesday, August 20. The closure originally had been scheduled to begin Wednesday, August 21. This pavement repair project is now expected to be completed by Friday, August 23.

Local westbound traffic will have access between 27th Street and Executive Woods Drive. StarTran Route 13-South 13th will be detoured during this closure. The recommended detour is 27th Street to Pine Lake Road.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. LTU appreciates the public's patience during these closures and reminds residents that project dates are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
