TAMPA, FL. (July 22, 2024) -- Tampa Police officers are investigating a deadly shooting.

At 1:00 pm, officers responded to the 1000 Block of East Poinsettia for a reported shooting. Once officers arrived on scene, they located an adult male with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
