Pack to School: NATCA National Provides Backpack Donations

On Wednesday, July 31, NATCA staff members came together in McNally to volunteer for the annual backpack stuffing event, organized in partnership with the Organized NATCA Employees Union (ONEU) and the NATCA Charitable Foundation. Staff members enthusiastically set up assembly lines and filled 100 backpacks with essential school supplies and delivered them to the Community of Hope center for distribution.

The initiative aims to support school-aged children of Community of Hope housing clients and the Bellevue neighborhood in Ward 8, near the NATCA National Office. This year, NCF and ONEU purchased and donated supplies for 50 elementary and 50 teen (middle/high school) students' backpacks, ensuring these children are well-equipped for the upcoming school year.
