Juan Ciscomani Voted to Cut Funding from Office Responsible for Investigating Antisemitism at Schools and Campuses

Juan Ciscomani voted in favor of a $10 million cut to the Office of Civil Rights, which is responsible for investigating antisemitism claims on schools and campuses, according to recent reporting from Jewish Insider.

As antisemitism and other forms of discrimination are on the rise in our nation's schools and college campuses, Ciscomani voted with extremists to defund the central administrative agency tasked with investigating these claims.

By voting to defund the Office of Civil Rights, Ciscomani is impeding our ability to combat antisemitism with the fierce urgency it requires.

DCCC Spokesperson Lauryn Fanguen:
"Juan Ciscomani is a shameless politician who cynically weaponizes serious issues like antisemitism for retweets and Fox News hits. It's offensive that he would vote to defund a program tasked with investigating antisemitism on schools and campuses."
