Kansas City area maintenance work for Aug. 5-9…

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from August 5-9. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

Route A between 136th St. and 131st St.: Flagging operation on Mon., Aug. 5, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

PETTIS COUNTY

Missouri Highway 127 at Front St. in La Monte: flagging operation on Wed., Aug. 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

Route T: flagging operation at various locations on Thu., Aug. 8, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm, for pavement repair work.

RAY COUNTY

Route A between Route E and Caldwell Co. line: flagging operation from Mon., Aug. 5 until Thu., Aug. 8, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 240: lane closures at various locations from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily.

  • Mon., Aug. 5: flagging operation east of Route P for wall repair
  • Mon., Aug. 6: flagging operation at Primrose Rd. for culvert replacement
  • Mon., Aug. 7 and Thu., Aug. 8: flagging operation at Queens Trail Rd. for ditch work

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
