AARP Smart Driver Course

The Roselle Police Department, in cooperation with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), hosts Smart Driver Courses.

This program is a two-day course and is open to all drivers. The class meets from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on each day of the course at the Roselle Police Department. Participants will refine existing driving skills and develop safe, defensive driving techniques. They will review how to handle adverse driving conditions and traffic hazards and learn about the effects of aging and medication on driving, as well as much more.

The cost is $20 for AARP members or $25 for non-members. The fee covers all classroom materials. Coffee and rolls will be served. Please download the registration form and return it along with a check made payable to AARP to:

Please check with your insurance company for possible reductions in your insurance rates upon completion of this course. The Smart Driver Course results in safer roads for everyone.
