Introduction to Woodcut

In this workshop, you'll discover the fundamentals of transforming your image into a woodblock print. You'll be guided through the basic carving techniques, using different mark-making techniques for visual effects, inking the woodblock, setting, adjusting the press, and printing a small edition to take away with you. You'll gain the confidence to create your own woodblock prints at home, which can be used for cards, textile design or small print editions.
