Summertime travel is upon us! Despite the potential for some busy days at Santa Barbara Airport, we've got some helpful tips to make it stress-free.

⌚ ARRIVAL: Arrive 2 hours early, especially during peak travel times and days (including early morning hours, anytime Thurs-Sun, and holidays).

PARKING: The Short and Long Term Lots often reach capacity during peak travel days. The Economy Lot (140 Frederick Lopez Road) is open 24/7 with shuttle service. Even better: catch a ride from a friend, grab a taxi/rideshare service, or hop on the bus!

FLIGHT STATUS: Check with your airline directly for updates on your flight status.

CONSTRUCTION: Ongoing construction may impact Highway 101 and 217. Please allow for extra time to account for potential detours and delays.

️ WEATHER: Keep an eye on the weather forecast. Inclement weather systems can potentially impact flight operations.

PICK UP: Picking up loved ones? Remember: parking at the curb is not allowed. Please utilize the two nearby cell phone lots while you wait.
