Fall Book Sale to benefit Mesquite Public Library

The Friends of the Mesquite Public Library present the Fall Book Sale on Oct. 25-26.

The twice annual sale, which benefits the Mesquite Public Library System, features gently used books and DVDs. This may include children's books, fiction, cookbooks, textbooks, popular movies and more.

Shoppers at the Fall Book Sale have the chance to support to Library as well as pick up some unique finds and make an environmentally friendly shopping choice by keeping used books out of landfills.

"You never know what you might find at the Book Sale," said Virginia Mundt, Director of Library Services. "We are incredibly grateful to the Friends of the Mesquite Public Library for hosting this sale. Throughout the year, the Friends are behind-the scenes heroes who help us keep Mesquite residents reading and learning."

Proceeds from the book sale events pay for programs, prizes and giveaways, artwork and much more for Library patrons.

New this year: credit cards will be accepted along with cash and checks. The Fall Book Sale will be held at Mesquite's Main Library, at 300 W. Grubb Dr., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26.
