Top honorees receive a lawn sign, a window decal, and an invitation to a ceremony hosted by Mayor Abdullah H. Hammoud to take place in Feb. 2025. Homes that were awarded an honorable mention will receive a window decal.

For 45 years, the all-volunteer City Beautiful Commission has promoted excellent property maintenance through its seasonal RSOE Awards, recognition of business facades and landscapes, and organization of Clean Up Parades with Dearborn schools.

Since the start of his tenure in office, Mayor Hammoud has worked with the Commission to promote education about tree planting and preservation, and the benefits of rain gardens and other sustainable practices.

The Commission also recognizes homes for their outdoor decorations in the Spring, Fall, and Winter.
