Texas Windstorm Insurance Association board meeting in Galveston on August 6

The TWIA Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, August 6 at 9:00 am at The Tremont House in Galveston. The Board will consider the TWIA Actuarial & Underwriting Committee recommendation to approve a 10 percent premium rate increase filing for 2025 residential and commercial policies.

The public can provide public comment in person at the Tremont House Hotel in Galveston or virtually via Zoom. Written comments may be submitted via email [email protected].TWIA recommends submitting written comments by Friday, August 2nd at 12 p.m.to allow board members sufficient time to review written comments before the meeting.
