Mary McLeod Bethune Council House National Historic Site to host meeting of site’s Federal Advisory Commission

WASHINGTON- Mary McLeod Bethune Council House National Historic Site will host a meeting of its Federal Advisory Commission on July 15 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be at the National Council of Negro Women Headquarters, 633 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C., 20004. This meeting will be hybrid, allowing for both in-person and virtual participation via Microsoft Teams.

The Mary McLeod Bethune Council House National Historic Site Federal Advisory Commission supports the site by participating in an advisory capacity, providing recommendations on issues including visitor experience and community engagement, preservation, and access to the site and archival collection.

The meeting is open to the public, and the public comment period will take place from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Participants may present comments orally or submit them in writing. Please submit written comments to [email protected] by close of business on July 11.
